Fistula Foundation - Surgical Center

Obstetric fistula is a childbirth injury that leaves women leaking urine or stool uncontrollably - and, too often, abandoned by their community. It is almost always preventable, and it is always treatable. Since 2024, Fistula Care at Surgical Centre Mbarara has offered free screening and surgery to restore health and dignity to women across South Western Uganda.
